The Washington Post Outlook section published a story written by Dr. Gregory Jaczko. The thesis states:

Patagonia Grant
Early in 2019, Patagonia awarded $23,000 to the Samuel Lawrence Foundation to support its San Onofre and Beyond campaign. Nearly a quarter of the grant came from the clothing company’s store in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California.
The collaboration aims to educate the public, promote action by public officials, build a coalition of leaders, and move nuclear waste off of the beach.
When announcing the grant award, a Patagonia official noted the company’s mission statement – “We’re in business to save our home planet” — and thanked the Foundation for its “important work.”

Nuclear Incident Impact Report Published
The Samuel Lawrence Foundation released two important reports.
Potential Economic Consequences from an Event at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Interim Spent Fuel Storage Installation employs economic impact modeling software to estimate losses from activities that would be curtailed within evacuation zones of one, 10 or 50 miles.
San Onofre Nuclear Waste Problems explores the damage caused to thin-walled, steel canisters as they are lowered into dry storage.
